I didn’t really have a proposal in the beginning so my final product was not the same or different from my original thoughts.

  1. Were there any aspects of your outcome that were surprising or unexpected?

Yes when the prelude ensemble played my piece… that was surprising.

  1. How would you approach the compositional process differently if you had another opportunity to learn in this manner?

I would know what to expect and how to start so it would be a lot easier.

I really like writing peaceful and uplifting songs so I would probably do that again.
